Discipleship Now (DNOW) is a weekend where youth can be youth, and Jesus will be Jesus. It is an awesome weekend of worship, play, way too much food, creating chaos and making memories.
CHURCH FAM,
JUMP IN.
HOST A HOME
Open your home and provide overnight stay as well as transportation to and from sessions for a group of 7 to 12 youth from a particular grade group. You will provide Saturday Breakfast in your home, otherwise snacks are provided.
LEAD A GROUP
Our Group Leaders are largely recruited from college age groups. College Leaders support and stay at the Host Home. They also walk alongside the youth for the entirety of the weekend. If engaging with youth and leading bible study are your thing, then THIS is your thing.
PROVIDE FOOD
Sign up to provide meals and snacks for Host Homes at the link below. From water bottles to casseroles to packaged snacks, we're gonna need them all. Have you seen how many snacks teens go through lately?
FUND A YOUTH
Students are charged to make this weekend happen. When a family is not able to pay that fee, we don't want to turn away that student. Be a donor and cover the registration fee for a youth needing the support! Contact Duncan Welborn, our Youth Minister, to help!

Youth FAQS
You have questions. We get it.
SCHEDULE | The schedule for the weekend will kickoff Friday night and go through Sunday morning at the 10:45am service. Youth will stay overnight at their host homes.
THINGS TO DO | Youth will rotate through mealtimes, games, worship, messages, hangouts, study times, and serving others. Saturday afternoon there is a big activity for groups. In the past this has included hamster ball soccer, petting zoos, scavenger hunts, and more!
SEE IT FOR YOURSELF | DNOW is a blast, and the church shows up big. Check out last year's video!

HOW TO APPLY | Contact duncan_welborn@fbctaylor.org to request a Scholarship application. Scholarships are not guaranteed and are awarded based on availability of funds.
Yes please! We encourage the families of attendees to join the 10:45am service as that is when Dnow related baptisms will happen and when the youth will attend service. And until then, join us on Wednesday and Sundays! For more information on services and programming at FBC Taylor, click here.
Often our Guest Speaker and Band lead the service on the Sunday of DNOW weekend. Plan to join us on Sunday, January 18th.
UNTIL THEN...
There's a whole bunch of Wednesdays and Sundays between here and there.
