Below is a list of all of the ministries offered at First Baptist Taylor We want you to feel as comfortable as possible when joining one of our ministry programs. We believe that engaging in fellowship is a very important tool when growing to be more like Jesus. The encouragment of others is a powerful thing.

The Children's Ministry at FBC strives to help your child(ren) learn and "become convinced of" the Truth of Jesus Christ.  He is the only way to have access to God and we love teaching kids about the plan He has for us.  We learn to use the Bible, memorize verses from the Bible and have lots of fun through games, crafts, storytelling and other activities.

Twenty8 9Teen Students exists to build bridges to teenagers and help make the broken whole in Christ.  Through Encountering God, Growing in Christ, and Serving the World, our aim is to see Students become disciples who make disciples.

Sunday Morning Bible Study

Sunday Morning Bible Study (SMBS) is an hour set aside on Sunday mornings specifically for digging deeper into God's Word, the Bible.  We use curriculum that studies the Bible by books, themes and topics depending on the class you choose to attend.  For preschool, children and youth, we provide classes for them based on their age and/or school grade.

Small Groups

Adult Small Group Ministry is a group of adults who meet together and have open discussion about Jesus and the Word. We would love it if you would come and visit with us.

Prime Timer's

A group of active retirees who love to socialize with each other and welcome new people.  We meet on both the second Wednesday and last Monday of the month and have various other events throughout the year.

We gather to celebrate His glory. Christianity is all about celebration. The truth of the gospel is that the God of the universe has lavished His love on us by dying on the cross to rescue us from our sinful condition and that He rose again in victory over sin and death. That truth overwhelms every other truth and is the lens through which we see all of life. Therefore the weekly gathering for celebration worship is more than just a tradition, it is an essential aspect of the Christian experience for every believer.

Our desire is to help our men build a relationship with God, and then fellowship with other men to enhance their spiritual growth.
Join us the 1st Saturday of every month at 8 am for our Men's Breakfast.  All ages welcome!

The Women's Ministry of FBC exists to help women of all ages develop a deeper relationship with God, with other Christian women and to feel confident in mentoring others in their walk with Christ.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20.

We have been commanded to preach the gospel both near and afar.  Through local and international mission trips, disaster relief, community ministries and annual mission campaigns, we are committed to carrying out this commandment that God has given.
