Prayer Night

Wednesday Nights from 6-7pm

The Prayer Team at First Baptist Church Taylor invites adults ages 18 and older to gather for a dedicated time of prayer. Together, we'll pray for our church, our community, and the work God is doing as we seek revival in the hearts of believers and salvation for those who do not yet know Christ.

Trunk or Treat

Wednesday, October 28th • 5:30pm

Enjoy an evening of creatively decorated trunks, games, candy, and family-friendly fun! Wear your favorite costume, invite your friends and neighbors, and come make some great memories with our community. General Trick or Treaters do not need to register.

NOVEMBER

Operation Christmas Child

Sunday, November 1st

Be part of Operation Christmas Child this year! Beginning Sunday, November 1st, pick up a shoebox at FBC Taylor and fill it with gifts to help share the love of Christ with children around the world. Return your filled shoebox by Sunday, November 15th, and help us make a difference in the lives of children and families around the world.

Shepherd's Heart

Saturday, November 7th • 7am

Join us as we serve our community at Shepherd’s Heart Food Pantry! We’ll spend the morning packing and distributing groceries to families in our community and supporting the important work Shepherd’s Heart is doing in Taylor. Location: 121 E. 2nd Street Taylor, TX 76574

Surviving the Holidays: Grief Share

Saturday, November 7th • 10am

The holidays can be especially difficult when you're grieving the loss of a loved one. Women of all ages are invited to GriefShare: Surviving the Holidays on Saturday, November 7, at 10am in the Fellowship Hall. Childcare provide. For more info and to register click the button below.

DNOW BBQ Fundraiser

Sunday, November 8th • 12pm

Support Bridge Youth and help make DNOW more affordable for students by participating in our Pulled Pork Sandwich Fundraiser on Sunday, November 8! We'll have delicious pulled pork sandwich meals available for pickup in the Fellowship Hall following the second worship service. Meals are available for a suggested donation of $12 when pre-ordered by November 1, or $18 for walk-up orders on November 8, while supplies last.

These Family Meetings are semesterly business and fun for the church family which incluldes a seated dinner, childcare, some fun, and a full reporting of church business.

DECEMBER

Christmas Eve Service

Thursday, December 24th • 4pm & 5:30pm

Join us this Christmas Eve at 4:00 PM or 5:30 PM as we celebrate the birth of Jesus together. Each service will be a special time of music, encouragement, and candlelight as we reflect on the hope of Christmas and anticipate the coming of our Savior. Bring your family and join us as we worship and celebrate the good news of Jesus!

End of Year Service

Sunday, December 27th • 10am

Join us on Sunday, December 27 at 10:00 AM for a special combined worship gathering as we celebrate God’s faithfulness throughout the past year.

DNOW 2027

January 15th-17th, 2027
